A different perspective on art...
Sanderson's class works on perspective paintings.
"we had to use a horizon line and then we put a dot which is called a vanishing point. We also made trees and buildings that get smaller. It looks like it's going away into the distance."
-Ive Chowdhury, Ms. Sanderson's Art Class

Cooking with Katzie
Today, Martino's group cooked some DELICIOUS food with Katzie. Here you'll see students whipping together some delicious berry/fresh whipped cream/ meringue dessert. Below that, catch a peek of some chopping action as students prep for the main dish: breakfast for dinner! We were amazed to discover a new vegetable today... Sea Beans! They look a little like seaweed and grow in salt marshes so are very salty. We used it in our scrambled eggs as a healthy alternative to loading on the table salt. Wonderful! There was also a kale salad (Ms. Angel's favorite veggie! All my juicers know kale is PACKED with nutrients.) Overall, it was a delicious and healthy meal. Thanks Katzie!
